About Terrell

Terrell Holmes, MS, is an organization development consultant who believes that insight and communication are the key drivers of change. While working in Marketing Technology for more than 15 years, Terrell repeatedly observed problematic communication and relationship management patterns. He founded The Good Org, LLC, to address those communication and relationship challenges.

Terrell uses the most current evidence-based practices to create real-world impact. He has shared his expertise in leadership development, group dynamics, change management, and behavior with clients such as Apple, The City of Berkeley, eBay, Kaiser Permanente, Kongregate, and The State of California. Terrell maintains several professional pursuits to support his goal “to change the way America does business.” Among those are Peacebuilding Consultant, Adjunct Professor of Organization Development at the University of San Francisco’s Masagung Graduate School of Management, and Interpersonal Dynamics Group Facilitator for “Touchy Feely” at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business.

Prior to becoming an instrument for peace, Terrell worked for 16 years in advertising and marketing technology, making him uniquely equipped to understand the organizational complexities of quickly-evolving companies. He earned his Master of Science in Organization Development (MSOD) from the University of San Francisco and his Bachelor of Arts in interdisciplinary studies from Virginia Tech.

As a graduate research assistant, Terrell co-authored the paper The Dark Side of Software Development: Job Stress amongst Autistic Software Developers and is passionate about utilizing research as a tool for change. When he’s not building stronger communities, he continues to learn how he can make The Good Org even better through advanced certifications and continuing education.
