Policy on Recording Coaching Calls

 

Purpose

The purpose of recording coaching calls is to enhance the coaching experience by providing a record of the session that can be reviewed for reflection, accountability, and improved feedback.

Terms

1. Consent

  • Recording will only occur with the explicit consent of the coachee.
  • Consent can be withdrawn at any time, and recording will cease immediately upon request.

2. Usage

  • Recordings are for the personal use of the coachee to review sessions.
  • Recordings may be used by the coach to review and improve the coaching process.

3. Handling and Storage

  • Recordings will be stored securely using encrypted storage solutions.
  • Only the coach and the coachee will have access to the recordings unless additional permissions are granted.

4. Privacy and Confidentiality

  • All recordings are confidential and will not be shared with third parties without the coachee’s explicit consent.
  • The content of the recordings will be treated with the same level of confidentiality as other coaching materials.

5. Duration

  • Recordings will be stored for a specified period agreed upon by the coach and coachee.
  • After the agreed period, recordings will be securely deleted unless both parties agree to extend the storage duration.

6. Rights

  • The coachee retains the right to access their recordings at any time.
  • The coach retains the right to use the recordings for professional development purposes, with the coachee’s consent.

Implementation

  • This policy will be discussed and agreed upon at the beginning of the coaching relationship.
  • Any changes to the policy will be communicated in writing and require mutual agreement.
